GlassesUSA: My Nightmare Online Shopping Scam! 😤
Let me share a truly terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a warning for others. My recent encounter with GlassesUSA has left me feeling completely scammed, and I wouldn't wish this frustration on anyone. Shop elsewhere. This is a terrible company to purchase from if you have any issues with your glasses. They will gladly take your money, but when it's time for them to fix an issue, it seems impossible. The business feels pretty much fully automated, and when I finally got in touch with someone, they were extremely rude and ended the call abruptly. They simply couldn't care less. There's no one else to talk to in order to file a complaint. I will never do business with GlassesUSA again. It truly feels like you’re being scammed, and the feeling of no way to get help compelled me to leave this review and engage with customer service, hoping to find a resolution.
Customer: My glasses arrived completely wrong, the prescription is off, and I can't even wear them! I’ve tried calling so many times, and it feels impossible to get a real person. CS Rep: I truly apologize for the difficulty you've experienced and for the issue with your glasses. That is certainly not the experience we want you to have. Can I please have your order number so I can look into this for you right away? Customer: It's GUSA12345. And honestly, when I finally did get through, the person was so rude and just hung up on me! It’s like there’s no actual support, just people who don't care. It felt like a scam. CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about that unacceptable interaction. Please know that is not how we train our team, and I will escalate that feedback. Regarding your prescription issue, I can offer you a free return label to send the glasses back. We can either remake them with a verified prescription or process a full refund for you. Customer: So I just send them back? How can I be sure the next pair will actually be correct, or that I’ll get my refund without having to fight again? I just want what I paid for or my money back without this constant struggle.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
