I am writing this as a warning to anyone trying to buy glasses online. My experience was an exercise in pure frustration, and after wasting hours, I felt I had no choice but to try and get a real person to help me. I had the worst time trying to place the order. The first night, the site kept telling me credit cards (multiple) was denied. The credit card company said they were not denying the charges. Calling for help wasn't helpful - they would need to step through the entire selection process and need me to send a copy / image of the prescription - which is at home and I'm on the road. Finally able to submit order on 3rd night. Not sure how though. This entire ordeal is what forced me to contact support, hoping for a simple solution.
Customer: I've been trying to place an order for two days and your site keeps rejecting my credit cards. My bank says the problem is on your end. CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the trouble you're having. That sounds incredibly frustrating, and I can definitely look into this for you. Customer: I already called last night and it was useless. I'm on the road and was told I'd have to start the whole process over and send a picture of my prescription. Why is this so difficult? CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for that experience. Let's try a different approach. If you'd like, I can attempt to process the payment for your existing cart manually from here to bypass the website error. Customer: Fine. If you can actually make it work, let's just get it done. CS Rep: Absolutely. Thank you for your patience. I'll just need to confirm a few details with you to proceed.
