A 30-Day Nightmare for a 90-Mile Trip: My Order Never Arrived 🤯
I'm writing this as a warning to anyone considering buying from GlassesUSA. My experience was an absolute nightmare, and I feel I have to share it. Do NOT use this company to purchase your glasses/sunglasses no matter how appealing the discount or deal may be. Your order will NEVER arrive and you will be continuously told that their shipping company CSL is experiencing delays. GlassesUSA is headquartered in New York City,NY and I reside in Philadelphia,PA which is approximately 90 miles away. My order was allegedly shipped on 11/12/21 and today is 12/10/21 almost a full 30 days. After seeing no movement for weeks, I had no choice but to call customer service to demand an explanation.
Customer: My order was supposedly shipped almost a month ago. The tracking hasn't updated. It’s only traveling 90 miles. Where are my glasses?
CS Rep: I'm very sorry to hear about this delay. Can I have your order number, please?… Thank you. I see that it was shipped, but it appears our shipping partner is experiencing significant delays in your area.
Customer: "Significant delays" for 30 days to go 90 miles? That's not a delay, that's a lost package. I could have walked to New York and back 14 times by now. This is completely unacceptable.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and you are right, that is an unacceptable timeframe. Let me process a full refund for you right now. I sincerely apologize for the terrible experience you've had.
Customer: Fine, issue the refund. But I'm reordering from a different company. You’ve lost a customer, and I'm going to make sure other people know what happened.
CS Rep: The refund has been initiated and you will see it in 3-5 business days. Again, I am truly sorry for this situation.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
